Davis and Frenchman\'s Fish Report

Truckee River Outfitters

As like most summers, the water temperatures are warm and the fish are deep. The best way to approach most of our local lakes this time of year is to fish early in the day and use a faster sinking line that can get you into at least 8 feet of water or more. A two fly set up using a wooly bugger or a leach pattern followed by a snail pattern will do just about as well as anything.
